Jewellery that puts a spring in your step and joy in your heart
One of the many things I absolutely love about Spring (and Summer) in West Sussex has to be the amazing sunrises we have when the weather is clear. I took this photo recently after I looked out the window first thing in the morning, as I always do, and dashed outside to capture this beautiful moment.
These gorgeous tones are captured in the gemstones that Catherine Weitzman uses in her collection of necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Cool aquamarine, juicy rubies and calming sapphires to carry the feeling of happiness and new beginnings I feel when greeting a sunny day.
Aquamarine is a pale blue green stone that, when worn in a piece of jewellery, assists with communication, both from within our body to assist in cleansing and removing blockages, as well as outwardly to improve conversations between the wearer and others. This gem is associated with the Throat chakra. There are 7 Chakras or energy centres in our body that run from the base of our spine to the top of our head.
Ruby is a powerful heart stone, said to open and activate the heart chakra. Rubies radiate warmth and a strong sense of vitality. These gems, ranging in colour from pale pink to pigeon blood red, help to promote a positive state of mind and enthusiasm for life, while overcoming exhaustion and increasing motivation.
Sapphires have been worn by royalty to symbolise wisdom and good fortune. In the Middle Ages, the clergy wore sapphires to symbolize heaven and attract heavenly blessings. Colours range from pale denim blue to a deep indigo, but are also found in pink, yellow and green. Sapphires are related to the Third Eye chakra and helpful for intuition and meditation.

Wishing you a wonderful day!
